What it does
Weather and conditions. Just a cupple of taps and temperature and condition logged every day without thinking about it.
Crew. Total headcount plus breakdown by trade. Electricians, masons, laborers, whoever’s on site that day.
Work entries. Log what got done, where, and by whom. Attach photos directly to the work item. Link issues back to specific areas of the job.
Issues. Flag problems as they happen. Assign a severity, a status, and a category. Issues can be escalated directly to an RFI or change order from inside the log.
Inspections and deliveries. Check them off as they happen. Add notes. Keep the record clean.
Weekly report. At the end of the week, generate a PDF that covers the whole week — conditions, crew, work, issues, photos — and email it directly to the owner from inside the app.
What it is not
It is not a scheduling tool. If you need a schedule, use Microsoft Project. It handles that better than any daily log software will.
It is not Procore or Fieldwire. It does not cost what those costs, require what they require, or try to do what they do. If you are running a $50M job with a full office staff, this is probably not your tool. Honestly, if you HAVE office staff, this is probably not for you.
It is not a time tracking app. It does not integrate with payroll. It does not replace your accounting software.

Small to mid-size GCs and subcontractors running real work with documentation that hasn’t caught up.
